History & Philosophy
We are well-known in Zurich since 1913. The traditional building was initially built as a departement store and then transformed into the Hotel Elite by the family Prager. To give the hotel a great and international flair „Carlton“ was added to the name. The hotel was closed in 1999 and reopened as a restaruant by Daniela and Markus Segmüller. The Hotel Carlton Elite emerged to Carlton Restaurants & Bar.
Our menu includes the best of the classic cuisine: sliced veal Zurich style, Filet Wellington or Crêpe Suzette are just some of the dishes. The wine menu with its 1000 different high class wines has won awards from the most important wine rating agencies and even wine enthusiasts will always find a hidden gem on our menu.
